Fostering

We work with homeless, feral, neglected and abandoned cats, as well as cats from hoarding situations. These cats are evaluated during the TNR process and if foster space is available, friendly cats are brough into the foster program. We bring cats to whatever is optimal health for the individual, and then work to find them the perfect forever home. We balance the health of the cat and the cat community, the individual cat’s needs, and the needs and best practices for the adopters.

Most cats come to Cat Trap Fever in some state of distress or born in the wild with no medical care. The Foster Coordinator will work with each foster to determine what are the right cats for your family. You always have the right to refuse any animal that you don’t think is a good fit for your family.

Cat Trap Fever is a 501(c)(3) non profit organization registered in Tennessee (Tax ID 99-3169507), and donations are tax deductible to the extent allowed by law.
